Thankfully I don’t have a vehicle with the start stop feature. But a friend of mine has a F150 with it and said that when you have a trailer hooked up for towing with the trailer lights connected the truck will automatically disable the *** feature. So when not towing, a way to fool the system is to put in one of those receiver hitch lights that connects to your trucks trailer electrical outlet for power.

Has anyone on here ever replaced the durafoam or seat covers for the cloth seats? I have a 2015 XLT with earth gray cloth seats. The seat shop looks like a great source for replacement but they’re pretty proud of their product. Has anyone ever swapped the cloth cover and durafoam from the passenger seat to the driver seat?

I bought the "seat belt extender" for $.02
Basically a 8" piece of seat belt with the connections on both ends , stays in 24/7.

Drive mode not working
I have a 2020 f150 xlt 5.0 10speed I had the little 4inch screen cluster and just upgraded to the 8inch screen that came out a 2017 f150 king ranch truck, I did everything step by step using forscan and all that, everything seem to be in working order until I tried to switch drive modes when I click the button nothing pops up on my screen not even a “ drive mode unavailable” so I pulled up forscan and I have a “IPC U0405:56-0A invalid data received from cruise control module” but my cruise controls works

This is probably the wrong thread, but I wouldn't expect the 2017 firmware to support drive modes that got added in later model years (2017s only had regular, tow, and sport); it may also be related to the CANBus signaling from the steering wheel buttons, as 2017s had the drive mode toggle on the shifter. @Clusters by Livnitup may know better.

I use the keypad to unlock my doors, but doesn't lock the doors with the code. I have to use the lock button on the door and then close the door. Ami I missing something? Mine is a 2018 xlt screw.

7+9 locks doors. Code unlocks doors and add a 5 after code to pop tailgate if you have remote gate.
