I'm pretty sure that is miles per trailer listed in the menu. Simply delete said trailer.

I did tons of research ahead of time and the $50 'Auto Start/Stop Delete' was not listed on the original sticker. But I have driven it a few times since and it did not stop, even though I had not pressed the 'Off' button on the dash.

My point is my previous owner must have installed something but I have no idea how to find out what or how. Related to the previous post, is there any way to check all this? Further, is there any action (accidental reset perhaps) by a mechanic or dealer that might negate or reset whatever had been done? Thanks!
UPDATE: So after driving the truck here and there over the past few weeks and a long 1000 mile roadtrip to KY last week, my *** feature seems to, unfortunately, work most of the time now. Honestly I am confused. So it never worked for the first few days I drove the truck. I took the truck in to have mechanic give it a once-over since it is a new-to-me purchase. He was probably in the computer somehow since the tires were out of round and he was fixing that somehow with special "bags"?? I used to discard tires because of that problem. Anyway, my point is, after that visit to the shop and further reading in the manual, it seems there are conditions for *** feature to work? Temperature maybe? I don't know. So, as some have suggested, I am trying to just get in the habit to press the disable button as part of my get-in-and-go routine. More often than not, I find myself saying "D'oh! I forgot again!"

I my experience with this I would think the system became active again is relative to the fully charged battery after the long trip.

If you put the truck in tow mode, meaning the button on the end of the gear shift, it disables ***. Sport mode also does the same thing.

There are a couple ways people turn off ***, there is a small plug on the negative battery terminal that will turn it off, and taking that off also disables the battery monitor system, easy enough to check and put back on if you want. Another way, down by the brake pedal, there is another connector that is disconnected will stop it from working. The drawback to that one, if you tow a trailer, the trailer lights will not work unless you hook it back up. There is a module being sold that disables it for around $50, people I've heard people jumper out contacts behind the switch. Also if you drive in TOW or SPORT mode, it is disabled. Personally I just drive in SPORT and never have to deal with it. And I've heard there is a way to turn it off in FORSCAN, which I haven't found yet. It's under one of the modules, I just haven't figured out which one yet.

To add to what flyboy50sc said. Pulling the plug on a 2021 and new will now set a code and trigger the CEL. So, I've read.
