Default Textra android app

Textra works with sync 3. So if you hear the message in your truck, it will remove the notification on your phone.

Here are some cool features we have they don't :

8) customizable MyTouch wallpaper

Had my truck for about two months and it's happened twice. Thankfully tonight at the dealership. Odd thing is that many of the selections work and this has the sales and service guys now looking at whether it's a quick switch to enable to functions since they're obviously there.

I've had that to popup on my '16, I can usually get it come up by leaving the a/c or heating on when turning off engine. During startup it then will often popup.

So, it took me just over a week to get through all 126 pages (thanks to those who condensed the tips down to a doc/pdf as there's a lot of repeated questions and answers)
Great info and funny comments!

A couple of things I've found with my 16 in the 2 months I've had it.

PLUS - I like the look and feel of the truck overall more than my 07/08 and 14 F150s.
Cab is more comfortable, more roomy and sound deadening has improved dramatically.
I'm up a trim level with the XLT Sport than I was with my previous 3 XTR.
I've had the 5.4 twice and the ECO in my 14 and I prefer the 5.0 to all of my previous models.
PLUS - The lack of chrome on this model has saved me $$ with not wanting to add a ton of other chrome accessories (door handles, window trim, etc) so that's a plus, but limits the exterior modifications.
NEGATIVE - First time with the nav system and I like it, almost everything about it, except.. it's a HUGE annoyance that in this day and age, where these vehicles are sold all over the freakin world that Ford can't make the weather and Sync travel apply to more than just the USA. It's completely useless to ask for a forecast and get one from 300 miles away in Montana.

A question;
1) Does anyone have any experience with how the aluminum body handles hail? I had a pretty bad hail claim with my 14 and am worried about the aluminum and it's strength when it comes to that.

Other than that, thanks everyone for the help in the previous 1256 posts and I'll gladly contribute where I can assist others too!

So I picked up my 2017 Supercab F150 on Friday... been reading through the thread, and I tried the rear seat flip forward trick everyone has talked about. It seems to me that Ford may have made it impossible now?? When I lift up the seat portion of the drivers side rear seat up.. the back does not move at all.. like in the referenced videos.. and there is no way to slip your hand behind the seat at all.. even a child's hand would not fit. Am I missing something? Or did Ford make it impossible on the 2017's?

The Supercabs are harder to open than the crew as there's not any room.. And they have or did have a strap you have to grab.. I ended up using a long pair of needle nose pliers to grab it.. Took me months to get mine down the first time.
