Yes I do but it will not be a plug n play type install. In fact, if you look at my post history, I've done a very thorough review of kickers "factory sub". Even with Sony, you have to splice wires and with non-Sony, it requires you to actually tap into speaker wires behind the dash. Aside from those hurdles, the kicker was absolutely not worth the money or time and as a result, I returned it. As far as turning on the sub through forscan, there is no option like that. Look at the the forscan sticky at the top of 15+ forum page. Further, even with Sony, there is zero sub adjustment on the touch screen. It's just treble, mids, bass, left, right, front, back.

Well in forscan under acm there is an option for the sub. I changed the value to use aux subwoofer and the enabled brown wire turns on and off with the radio.

Also I am not planning on using the kicker set up. I figured why remove the acm to tap wires when there is already a sub signal already ran to the back.

Furthermore if one does use a factory sub it is plug and play. The harness for the factory kicker looks to be FL3Z-14A411-H. I'm not talking about the aftermarket kicker. I'm talking one you would get from say fordparts.com

Interesting. I wonder if that setting is enabled on my truck or reserved for an aftermarket sub. As far as the "factory" kicker from ford parts. Is that considered an upgrade from the stock Sony sub or is it similar to the aftermarket "factory" sub?

I wonder if both the factory and aftermarket kicker sub use the same connector on the amp. That being said if one bought the harness stated above then turned on the sub with forscan or dealer it seems to me there wouldn't be a need to run any wires. I think the reason the aftermarket one does have you run wire is so there is no programming involved.

I was thinking the same thing. I may try this once I recover from the other 3k in mods I have done the first 2 weeks of owning it.

pretty sure the head unit doesn't send standard speaker signals (Low lever or high level) to the rear factory amp. It's a signal that needs to be processed. Without a factory amp in the rear the only thing you will probably gain is your remote wire to signal the aftermarket amp to turn on.

Can someone link to the factory ford kicker upgrade? Not the vss power stage. The one from ford parts.

That looks like the factory Sony sub.
