There is no readme file in the ford-procured zip file.
Are there instructions to split this thing up into two usb's or something?
Why would two USB's work - you would think it would still attempt to *load* the first, then *load* the second before beginning the install.

I bought and used the HF body trim and molding set for $8. I wanted to buy a set anyway. I got the yellow ones, but the blue ones have a 90 degree tool that would also be efficient. Amazon has a similar set for less than $6. Using the 90 degree tool, I was able to do the swap in under 3 minutes right before I drove away for work. The hardest part was finding the little plastic clip on each of the two plugs because the harness couldn't be pulled through the hole very far.

@ggkid71:
Yes - I am doing that myself as well.
I did notice an extra file in the ford files versus the .zip's available from the internet - as well as a file size difference. USB1 is out on my truck now loading...we'll see.

W/ version 1.0/1.1, when I played music stored on my phone via bluetooth, pressing mute button on steering wheel would pause the app, not just mute audio. Now on 2.2 it only mutes, and the music keeps progressing. Anybody else seeing this behavior? Any settings I can change?
It's awful. Hopefully a bug that will be fixed by Ford's crack software team, ha!
I've resorted to punching the Power button on the Volume **** to pause and silence audio. I still can't believe there is no way to pause audio without taking your hands off the wheel.
Any chance you can post them somewhere so I can compare the ones I installed and look at the extra files? If you aren't comfortable with that it is fine as well.
Well...
So I got the original "USB1" done - and went to do "USB2" the first time and had issues - it didn't start installing or "indexing" off it - and now I keep running out of space trying to do "USB1" again. So I don't know what the issue is. It would sure be nice if I could view the output from the installation process - I see a bunch of "echo" and stuff in the scripts that make up the installation - but they sure aren't echoing to anywhere that I can see them. Pretty sure I give up.
