Glad you got it working. My WaltSweeney delivery came so both my truck and my stepson's are all set as well. Of course popping the USB ports out of my truck was much tougher than his. The opening they had cut was super tight.

Yeah man - thanks for the help. My USB port was an absolute nightmare to get out. Mine has the center console which really limited my angles.

Nothing like a refresher course on "creative cussing 101". When your neighbor sees the lower half of your body hanging out of one side of the truck and you're stitching together a fine tapestry of obscenities directed specifically at the center console of the truck, they know exactly what's going on. It's a place we've all been before and continue returning to.....LOL

Has anyone with Nav tried to load all the files at once? Instead of breaking it up to 2 different USBs? Most if not all of the YouTube tutorials online have mustang users with nav and they all have used just 1 USB.
I'm wondering if the nav version of sync 3 have more storage space? For the maps?

I used a 16gb thumb drive that I cleaned off and reformatted prior to putting the Nav 2.2 update on it. Plugged it in an worked like a charm. AFAIK, for Nav, there is only one file, not two like NON-Nav.

2.2+Walt Sweeney = Carplay

Just a thought but could Ford be holding back on the update release to F150 because it's impossible to do over wifi for the non-nav versions?
How would they update them when they "run out of room" on the unit? Hence why the non-nav versions have to resort to using 2 separate usb sticks with the files broken up.

Just a thought

More likely moved from using employees as beta testers to using Lincoln owners as beta testers as that is where the files came from.

Looks like some big changes coming soon so maybe the full release will be even better.

I'd love to test please. No nav and on 1.0

Hats off to someone that slogged through many pages of the thread...although they gave up.

The files have been posted in this thread numerous times, no longer limited to select testers.
