Current SYNC 3 and CarPlay/Android Auto Information
Funny all these people saying the ver2.2 is now on the owner.ford.com site. Mine doesn't, what gives? It won't even tell me what the current sync3 ver is.
I clicked on the link and below is what I get,
Does Ford normally release updates for everyone at once or do they release it gradually maybe to not bog the download system down?
It's possible you have updated SYNC 3 using Wi-Fi within the past week.48 If you aren't sure, here's how to check.
From the SYNC 3 touchscreen, press the Settings icon in the Feature Bar, then press the General icon. On the next screen, select About SYNC (you may need to scroll to see it) and your SYNC 3 software version will appear at the top of the following screen.
The current SYNC 3 software version is . If you do not have this version, proceed with the update.

To the best of my knowledge, I dont believe anyone with an F150 in the US has received the update directly form Ford yet. Seem to recall maybe some Lincoln models getting it though.
As for whether they release it to everyone at once, not sure. From my perspective though it makes sense to do it in phases to help prevent a storm of issues being reported if a new bug were to materialize on upgraded systems. Or worse, the auto update fails some where in the process and "bricks" the unit.
The owner website shows you the current version installed on your sync system. However, for those of us that downloaded the updates from the links in this thread and manually upgraded it still shows 1.1 on the owner site. After a random period of time, 2 weeks for me, the owner website will eventually update and show ver 2.2 as the current version you are running. The posts about 2.2 now showing on owners site is nothing more then people sharing that it finally synced up with the actual version on their system.

Got my update good last night and the truck shows 2.2 now. I hit the scan for updates now button in the truck and literally 5 minutes later I went in and checked the owner.ford site and it said I was updated to 2.2.
I got an update from the dealer yesterday to...1.1
I was there anyways for other warranty work and figured it was worth a shot. I've had a blue hub since November and it's getting hard to wait for Ford to officially release this

Yours says HC3Z-19A387-C. I'm not sure, but there may be a difference between the "C" and "B" part numbers.
