Does the update is available in canada to pass from v1.0 to 2.0 ?

 

Can we update the first post with new info regarding the update? It seems to be lost in this thread now

 

I just went on ford owner site and it said my sync was updated Jan 11,2017 (tomorrow)
Lol should I wake up and check my truck to see if it's Christmas here and I have 2.0 or is the ford site just screwed lol

 

Did you update the truck manually already?

 

Nope just been waiting patiently ( might have called in to ford a couple times to say how good and fast there service is with this too). 😡

 

Interesting, let's hope tomorrow is the big day. I can't see any other reason to post that your truck is updated.

Ok where on the ford owner site do you find your sync version?
I've logged in and entered my VIN ect and searched and can't find it

 

Top right of the page there is the menu!
click it and go to sync and vehicle maintenance, and under it there is a check for software updates

 

I installed from the download attached here on this forum about 5 days ago.. here's what it say when I checked on the ford website.

 

Updated last night using the 2 part file. Everything went fine with that one. I tried using the "official" Ford release which was hosted on a ford.com site, which I found through Mustang link posted a few pages back. That one gave me issues, saying there wasnt enough space and what not.

Now that its upgraded, the truck still shows 1.0. I know the update worked though the interface has changed slightly and it now shows the AA preferences. I tried the Master Reset with no luck and hoped maybe it just needed to shut off for a little while, but this morning it still shows 1.0. Oh well, not that big of a deal.

Now I'm just waiting on my hub from Anytime Ford Parts.
