Default 2019 xlt

I have a 2019 xlt.
I don t know what package it has tho. I had just power mirrors and I addes The ones with turn signal, heat, and power. But I’ll check the fuses. Did you have rear
window defrost? I do not have it. I’ll check to see if I have the fuses. My switch I added to the bezel dose light up tho. Did anyone add a jumper wire behind rear passenger seat where rear window defrost would of connected

Yours would also be a 300A then,
mine did not have rear window defrost either.

I did no wiring modifications at all,
just bolted up the heated mirrors and swapped out the dash bezel and everything worked.

You may just need to add that fuse,
my truck is the same package as yours, just one year newer.

Dumb question : are you sure that your mirrors don't heat now ?
They don't really get hot, just warm and it takes a few minuets.

No problem,
and yeah, if they aren't clearing up the fog then they must not be working.

Here is a picture of my under hood fuse box,
the fuse circled in yellow is the heated mirrors fuse.
It is a 15 amp fuse.

Wiring diagram question :

I'm curious as to just how the heated mirrors actually get powered, I swapped out my mirrors for some aftermarket 22 pin tow mirrors... so back to the 8 pin mirrors, 4 pins are dedicated to mirror position, 1 is for the turn signal, the last one ( I assume ) is the ground ( driverside) ... the otherside the extra 2 pins are for the aat sensor (passenger).

The aftermarket mirrors, wiring is all very confusing... so after calling the supplier for a wiring color code and being denied ... I took apart one mirror and chased each wire to see what it was connected to. During this endeavor, I questioned how exactly are they heated up, I do understand that the rear defroster switch is suppose to warm them up, however after taking this mirror apart ( aftermarket mirror not the stock) I dont see how they get voltage without powering the mirror movement or messing with the turn signal.
The aftermarket mirrors I purchased have motors to fold in/out, the pins (3 pins) were located in the wrong slots and the pigtail (3 pins) did not actually power the fold option so that's why disassembled one... actually 2 pins and the motors are reversible, I purchased a DPDT switch and fold works now on both 😍

I found one on eBay for like 60 bucks. It has a ton of extra fuses that I just pulled for now. Pictures of the Old one versus the new one all I use so far was the heated mirrors but I can add all kinds of other stuff I believe later down the road and keep it OEM
