edit: ETIS is WAY off.

COTUS/window sticker:

build date 4/07.
V6 ecoboost
Screw
e lock 3.55

ETIS:
build date - 7/4
NA 3.5
double cab 3/4 door
3.55 less locker
ETIS date is European ie day/month/year

COTUS doesn't work for anything at all. The build day is based on your BLEND, but if you don't get manufactured that day - it will still show awaiting shipment 1-2 days after the original blend day. The shipping sometimes works, but sometimes not.

Anyone who is using COTUS to feel happy in some way about your truck, please don't get your hopes up or in anyway feel "OOO it's coming along" you may just be setting yourself up for upset....

That being said does anyone else here "Stalk" the dealers lot every few days looking to see if it came in and you just were not told yet?

QACOTUS changed ETA from long standing 4/26 to 4/28 recently, so since then I've been checking a lot less. Figured I'd keep my sanity intact as much as possible. Then today (4/21) I look after a few conference calls this morning, sure enough, it says DELIVERED!

Texted dealer, they confirmed possession and are doing dealer prep so I can pickup TONIGHT!!!

Here's summary:
  • Priority 10
  • Ordered: 03/07/2016
  • DORA: 03/07/2016
  • VIN recieved: 03/18/2016
  • Blend: 2201604095051
  • KS City build
  • Actual build date: 04/12/2016
  • QA Cotus changed to "In Transit": 04/12/2016
  • Actually Shipped on: 04/15/2016
  • Destination: Northern Colorado
  • Delivered to dealer on: 04/21/2016
2016 Lariat, SCREW, 157", 4x4, 3.5EB, 3.55eLock, 501A, Sport Appearance, Max Tow, Tow Mirrors, Navigation, 36gal, Tailgate Step, Bucket Seats

Wow.

Congrats PING!

I don't know what to think.
Mine was ordered on 2/25. Built on 4/02 in Dearborn. In transit since 4/7.

Still waiting with no info since the ETA of 4/16 came & went.
Still "in transit" except now there is no countdown & no ETA.

It updated once when it first went "in transit" from an original ETA of 4/24 to 4/16.
Now I think the 4/24 date will come and go without a truck.

QACOTUS now shows my truck as In Production!

Priority 10
Ordered: 03/24/2016
DORA: 03/24/2016
KC build
QACotus changed to In Production: 04/21/2016

ETIS still shows 30.11.0002, and there's no window sticker available on Research Mechanics.

CSX probably damaged it.
It's probably somewhere getting patched up.

If I have any indication that is the case, I will walk away.
The more time that ticks by, the more I'm concerned something is up.
This truck is going to the Philadelphia suburbs.
If it actually shipped when they said, it should be here. Other trucks built after mine have arrived and been delivered. That makes me think something is up.

Maybe they wait for a full truck going to the same dealer?
I would think a full truck going to the same general area is good enough, but I don't know.

Honestly, there could be LOTS of reasons. Another neighbor works for GMC as a liaison between dealers and corporate. He told me stories where a vehicle would get parked wrong at a transition station, then other inventory got piled in so the initial vehicle was boxed in. The train yard kept moving inventory that was last brought in to try to get to the other inventory, just took long time. Honestly could be so many things keeping your vehicle held up.

Then it's not in production.

I am in the same boat. Vehicles manufactured AFTER mine, were already shipped and arrived at the dealer, meanwhile mine remains "awaiting transport" I'm also concerned that something happened and now QA/QC has frozen it...

Looks like cotus must have updated today, delivery date got pushed back from 28th to the 5th. Totally okay with it though because my sisters bank told her they had to wait until the 1st to buy my current truck anyways.
