What is J1? And why does SYNC3 have J1?
I thought since SYNC3 is default from now on 2016+ so why would have buikd date? I would figure it would be as soon as buikd starts

I'll start it off:

Ordered: 9/15/16
Received VIN: 9/24/16
VIN: 1FTEW1EG0GFA14102
Factory: Dearborn
Trim: Platinum 3.5L EB 5.5'

I don't have any late availability items according to a document posted in the "2016 Order Guide" thread.

No ETA yet, and does not appear on COTUS, but it does appear on ETIS (No Build Date yet).

Production for 2016 F150s is scheduled to begin on 10/12/16 at Dearborn.

Another member in another thread said it meant "Job 1". In other words, immediately.

Hi DPWiegs and Coaster60,

Please send me a PM with your order number and dealer code, or send your VIN if you already have one; I'll check a resource on this end for updates.

So threw in the order for a regular cab 5.0, here's to hoping it doesn't get canceled this year

Ordered: 9/12/16
Received VIN: N/A
VIN: N/A
Factory:
Trim: XL Sport RCSB 5.0

Also I am reading that right where it says 5.0 rc's are 1qtr for build dates, right? Cause that makes me way more optimistic.

Another question for you if you don't mind.

I know VIN doesn't represent the exact order that the vehicles are built, but there is a rough correlation, right? For instance, would trucks with VINs that are in the range of A10000 to A11000 be built relatively close together (etc, same week/within a few weeks of each other)?

Thanks for your huge wealth of information you've provided on these forums!

For you guys who have successfully placed your '16 orders (#jealous), were any of these super crews? I was told yesterday that the order bank wasn't open for SCrews yet, just wanted to confirm. I don't see anything listed in the availability dates below.
