Thanks Jroback, it was Chad who advise me to check COTUS, looks like I will be continuing to PM him ever couple of weeks if that's true.

I gave up waiting for my order, figured why not just buy from dealer stock? Well as it turns out the dealers near me are deathly afraid of the extended fuel tank, so there goes that idea. Getting more and more disillusioned with this process.

I say that jokingly. It just seems that the only trucks local dealers are ordering the extended fuel tank on are the loaded ones where they got every option... The in-betweeners (which fit my needs) don't have them.

Got mine....almost. It's sitting at the dealer....still filthy, and I will get it Tuesday.

Ordered 10/9, built 11/9 and delivered 11/24.

2016 Lariat SCrew 4x4 | 3.5EB | 502a | Convertible | Chevron Tanker Fuel Tank | Power Running Boards | Missile Defense System | Max Trailer Tow

Went to dealer today to look it over and do all the paperwork. I bought in CA and will register in NV. Never knew that would be a big deal on delivery. Basically I either need to go to DMV and get a one way permit to drive it home or have the dealer deliver it NV. Fuggin Red Tape BS if you ask me. So I made other plans to get it and now will wait....grrrr. Does this even make sense???

Either way I'll be taking delivery Tuesday.

FYI, my dealer gave me some insight into what could possibly be causing some of your delays. Take it with a grain of salt just passing on what I heard. This only applies to the trucks being shipped by rail, she said they load up the rail cars and wait for an available train. With all the weather the perishable food products go first priority with the train company. I didn't even think about the freight company having their own priority for shipping. Anyway, I could believe it for a week or two delay, maybe three but after that IDK.

Thanks, I didn't pick that up. That ties the two dates together! It is a Sept. 2015 truck. Thanks again!

Just get the Certificate of Origin from the CA dealer and take it back to NV to register it and get a set of NV plates.
Then back to the dealer to nail the plates on and drive home.
A bit more legwork but you knew that going in, right?
