I'm very happy to not be caught up in this waiting game anymore. I highly suggest that others in the 10/26 club search around on the ford website for matching trucks at nearby dealers too.
Well to quote my friend Charlie Sheen "winning" that's what Ford is thinking right now every time they see someone go away and buy a different truck it's "problem solved" and they still got your money, thank God you didn't get that recalled truck sitting in reject Yard or should we call it the fruit basket with extra lemons lol. Congrats anyway you made a good choice

Thanks. I'll try that out. It's so pathetic in this day and age that most of us are super tech savvy and one glitch affects our morale.

The only other thing that drives me nuts is the loose fitting leather. How the h3ll does that make it thru the line. Absolutely no tolerance for this for a $60k+ truck. It's a 2016 for hecks sake.

All the more reason why Ford's seating engineers and designers should be replaced.

I will disagree here. Just because the line is missing a part (say a seat) and the truck goes through without it... yet needs it put in at a later date does NOT make a vehicle a lemon. Not sure how you compute that one. I get it... **** happened. Suppliers were not able to meet demands... this has NO impact on Ford quality. One of those "Yard trucks" is mine.. and I expect nothing less from it. Im happy we got an answer and Im happy that it wasn't brought to me subpar. Has nothing to do with RECALLS or LEMONS. If people choose not to wait its because of their personal situations.. not the truck. Each choice is individually based... so choosing to wait should not be listed as a "Bad choice". Sorry---- you're wrong.

Will you accept delivery of the truck if the heating and cooling properties of the front seats do not function properly?

I will be doing a thorough test drive and if its not as good as my current acadia--- I will discuss it and see what they are planning to do. I get EVERYTHING in writing--- trust me. Mama didn't raise no fool.

If Ford has no TSB in place for the modified 2016 seat, what do you expect them to do?

Further, If Ford has no remedy to offer, will you accept delivery of the F150?

Ordered 2016 King Ranch, EB 3.5, White Platinum,6.5 Bed, Max Tow, Tow Mirrors, Extend Fuel Tank. Ordered 9/23. Build of 10/26. Have repeatedly called Ford Marketing to find out why it hasn't shipped. They seemed to be in the dark about why. Was assigned a case number and was told Maria ( Regional Rep) would call. Maria did call to leave a message on Wife's phone that best source of info is my dealer. BS, BS, BS; dealer states they don't have a clue. Just physically checked 2 Lexington dealer lots; no 2016's seen. My dealer has received a few 2016's; but were XLs and XLTs. Maria is supposed to call 11/29. At this point my better judgment tells me to keep my 2013 Platinum that is paid for, and tell God Almighty Ford to stick it. I hope Chevy bumps them off their high horse. All signs point to me jumping ship.
