Options: 502A, Twin panel moonroof, max tow, power tow mirrors, sport appearance package, 20" 6 spoke painted wheels, 36 gallon tank
Sport appearance and 20" wheels are late availability. As long as I have the truck before April I'll be happy!

Bit the bullet and started sending out emails to dealerships. I'm looking to get the sport pkg and if it's late availability like they claim I figure I better go ahead and get this ball rolling. Got my 1st call within 5 minutes of submitting inquiry.... They are on it! Really hope I don't get in over my head with this lol.

I'm hoping they get the ball rolling on this Sport Package, I don't understand why it's late availability... I'm hoping to get my truck by Christmas, but It's not looking good.

It's definitely late availability according to the order guide linked on the first page. But, production is supposed to start in Q4 (we're obviously already in Q4).
My hope is that we will see some sport appearance trucks by February-March at the latest.
I just wanted to get my order in so I'm hopefully near the beginning of the queue and will have my truck by April.

When we submitted my order yesterday, dealer said the special edition was late availability but nothing was noted on sport appearance package and i should expect my truck mid december. I am in Canada so we always get everything last. Cant even build and price a 2016 yet on ford.ca
Another fellow Canadian! I also ordered mine and you're right, we always get everything last! I'm checking ford.ca often so that I can build and re-build my truck to my hearts content lol.

for some reason I thought Sport package was only late availability for 2.7 XLT or something... I'm hoping to order Lariat 5.0 with sport package but sounds like any combination with sport package is late availability? I really hope that doesn't mean "next summer" else I'd just wait a few months for 2017 model year
