Its just some big bulb/pill looking thing near the vapor canister. I'll look it up tomorrow and see if I find anything.
So, just out of curiosity, I was wondering if there was anything special about the electronic 4x4 dash switch in the 92. I had a brief idea of just connecting the wires to a couple buttons/switches if possible. Getting tired of trying to find this switch....Collector helped me find one but I didn't have a paypal account up in time to get it.
I finally got my (awesome) ford OBD 1 code reader in the mail and my replacement 4x4 switch. Now my 4x4 works perfect (yay!) And I was finally able to pull codes for both KOEO and KOER tests. On the KOEO test I got a
121: closed throttle voltage higher/lower than expected
(Would the timing bump and related parts I replaced have anything to do with this)
On the KOER I got, in this order
412: cannot control RPM during KOER high RPM check (no idea)
121
332: insufficient EGR flow detected
Any help is much appreciated.

So I finally went and got a small bottle of whiteout and marked the 10BTC and 16BTC lines on my balancer and did my timing. Man was I way way off. I thought I had put my distributor back on the old mark after trying (and failing) to do it "by ear". So I now have it set to about 14-15BTC.

Two things come to mind on your dismal results w/ Seafoam. Ok...3.
1. Engine must be prewarmed to norm. op. temp. first.
2. Pour as fast as possible w/o completely stalling out & shut off engine immediately.
3. after 20 mins., restart & rev repeatedly, until smoke subsided for the most part, then take it for an aggressive drive.
Which one(s) did you not do?
