All spark size has to do with, is effective ignition of the fuel present. A larger spark kernel leaves less unignited fuel on the table. A larger coill won't hurt a high milage engine. I wouldn't slap a turbo on it though!

Yes, the positive connection on the alternator w/ the cute little red rubber cover...to ground. I show 14.7 V.

Even tell's you to run a copper core plug! Denoted by the "C" in the plug part #.

I didn't see anything with a red cover, I put it on the pos terminal of the battery....I saw a black plug with a bunch of wires and a grayish plug with some wires... I'll look again tomorrow when there's more light.
