I actively working on the first post now to hopefully answer most of these questions

Thanks for this. I have read the other threads and have been trying to get a good idea of how it works. I am not computer illiterate but I am no expert either so I did not just want to go messing around with the truck and screw something up. Hopefully someone can post a "FORScan for dummies" and give a step by step on setup and usage. I know the information may be in the other threads but they tend to bounce on and off topic quite a bit.

Ok, the original post is semi-done for now. If anyone thinks anything needs to be clarified or other things added that I may have forgot, please reply

I would like to add also. If you use an extension cable like this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C2M2ZZG/

With the MXBT you will not get all the modules to pull up. I was scratching my head several times because I could not get it to work properly. After I connected the MXBT direct to the OBDII port everything worked great.

Just FYI

It would be wonderful if Ford setup Sync (or Sync 3) to be able to change these features!
