Strange that the value writes fine on 1 cluster but give invalid config on another.
720-04-02 **** xxxx - This is just the Country Code (4341=Canadian, 5553=U.S.)

Try writing this and see if it works (it will disable trailer brake gain but I'm curious if the value writes). If the "8" writes ok, then I don't see why "C" wouldn't write ok also.
720-04-01 xx8x xxxx xxxx

Edit: can you pm me your VIN so I can pull your as-built?

I wonder if it may be the third number of 720-04-01. Yours is 0031, mine is 00B1.

Heh, heh ... NOW you can make a quick run to the bathroom!

Congrats on the success of the best thread ever, on any Forum, Livnitup!

Now, can you figure out how to kill the dumb blue indicator for high beams? Geez I hate that stupid thing. They are always too bright for the eye issues I have. I used to put stickers on the panel to cover them up on my work trucks but I won't do that to such an (otherwise) nice truck. Would be nice to get rid of 45 years of driving anger. I know when my damned highs are on - don't add more light in my face.
