FORScan - software to enable/disable features in your truck

Thanks for this. I have read the other threads and have been trying to get a good idea of how it works. I am not computer illiterate but I am no expert either so I did not just want to go messing around with the truck and screw something up. Hopefully someone can post a "FORScan for dummies" and give a step by step on setup and usage. I know the information may be in the other threads but they tend to bounce on and off topic quite a bit.

Ok, the original post is semi-done for now. If anyone thinks anything needs to be clarified or other things added that I may have forgot, please reply

I would like to add also. If you use an extension cable like this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C2M2ZZG/ With the MXBT you will not get all the modules to pull up. I was scratching my head several times because I could not get it to work properly. After I connected the MXBT direct to the OBDII port everything worked great. Just FYI . |
It would be wonderful if Ford setup Sync (or Sync 3) to be able to change these features!
