Hahah I read that a few days ago and it made no sense to me...now it makes complete sense and should work.

Will have to wait to finish it tomorrow.

Thanks for catching this for me!

I did 8 washers on each corner...may adjust this some...right now the cover is the whole way forward and touching the back of the cab. I think it should be slid back some towards the tailgate, but I don't think I have a lot of room to move it back...

Any thoughts?

The ideal number of washers in each corner may vary slightly depending on how similar the hole locations ended up. The idea is to make sure there is enough spacing so the guide rails "float" above the side of the bed and rest only on the mounting brackets.

The tailgate end of the rails has a 5/8" notch. The top part of the rail should extend slightly over the tailgate and the lower (notched back) part of the rail should be spaced 3/16" from the inside face of the tailgate. That should then give you good clearance from the front of the rails to the back of your cab. If not, the next step would be to email a few pictures to our support team so we can help figure out what is going on. We'll take care of you one way or another!

....and this is why I bought a Peragon. Awesome service. I grew up in a family business and know that customer service is what keeps people spreading the good word.

Thanks. I'll try these when I get a chance and update

Is there anyway to use silicon on the side rails to reduce the water that gets in the bed? Have my options narrowed down to this, truxedo lo pro QT or the access lorado. Water tight is my biggest concern. Thanks.

All folding or retractable bed covers will leak to some degree. The only waterproof options are one piece. It's a matter of weighing your priorities based on the way you use your bed. With a Peragon cover, you get a great mix of security, weather protection and flexibility to use your truck bed for all the reasons you bought a truck!

Alas, we don't make it.
We regret to inform you that we currently don't offer a bed cover for your truck model. This may be due to general lack of demand or other factors outside of our control.
Your interest in this model has been noted, however, and we'll consider offering a new cover model in the future. We hope you'll consider Peragon again in the future for your bed cover needs.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at (877) 473-7246, or emailing us at info@peragon.com

We aren't aware of any ways to further enhance the watertightness of our cover beyond the seals we use. That's not to say there isn't a way, we just haven't found it. If watertight is your top priority, you may want to stick with a one piece tarp or hard lid. If you're willing to manage some water by making sure sensitive gear like electronics or tools are in secondary protection like Rubbermaid totes, the Peragon truck bed cover will offer you a great combination of good looks, durability, security and flexibility.

Thought I update a small bit. This past weekend we had to go on an out of state emergency. having the entire family in the SCrew without worrying about luggage turned out to be the most perfect trip we've had in a while. Not only do we have plenty of foot room in the cabin, but we managed to keep all of our luggage under hat, out of sight, from potential theft and whether. Love it.
