You gonna build a shed in the backyard or take over the storage payments?
You were just saying you need more room at home.

We'll see. Probably get a unit closer to home if I go that route. He's paid until the end of August, so I have a minute to figure it out. But i just went through a bit of it. Tons of new parts in there. Lots of 4L60 stuff.

Call me weird, but I'm pretty excited to have his "bucket o' goodies". This has so many bolts, etc. in it. LOL.

I think I am finally going to do it. After years of talking about it, this fan will be making a home in the F150.

@white89gt You're weird. (Actually, I have a container full of bolts, nuts, and screws from when I disassembled the '99, and it's come in handy numerous times.)

The strange noise under the hood of the '03 has been coming and going, but I finally crawled under the truck with my stethoscope while the noise was present, and determined that White was also *correct* when he suggested the water pump as the offending component. I have a new Murray pump on the shelf, but am hesitant to install it, since it's also a Murray that is now squawking.

Since I have to remove the fan and shroud to do this repair, I'm really considering an e-fan retrofit, myself. White: I seem to recall you putting together a parts list and "how-to" some time ago. Am I right? If so, would you mind sharing again?

Thanks.

Sure.... I can hook you up. Actually, the only thing I need to know is how you plan to activate it? I use a BMW dual temp sensor. I'll grab those details for you.... I assume you're running a 192-194 thermostat?

Have you seen the price of hardware lately? That's like a bucket of gold.

Attached is the info from the old post I made on Blue Oval Fanatics. HOWEVER, the last time that I ordered the BMW wires, they did not come to me correct. I don't know if it was a shipping mitsfu, or if BMW made a change because the P/N on the bag reflected what I ordered.

If you have any questions, let me know. For the temp sensor, I plan on tapping into the upper radiator hose with an aluminum 44mm Tee that I bought. It's made by Glow Shift, if that helps. Just note that if you go with a Tee, it must have a grounding screw.

(Said Tee will also need to be tapped out the M14 X 1.5)
