Decided to run out and get my stuff to assess anything else I might need. Looks like I need an 80A continuous duty relay. I guess I used my spare on Frankie.

Ohio, if you have trouble sourcing the Volvo relay/harness, i just found 3 in my stash. I had forgotten that this 44mm tee also needs me to tap a ground screw in. Lol... oops.

Yeah, CO... that bolt bin got us out of a few jams. Somehow our puller always misplaced pan bolts.

Stock/standard t-stat, White, yes.

If you have any questions, let me know. For the temp sensor, I plan on tapping into the upper radiator hose with an aluminum 44mm Tee that I bought. It's made by Glow Shift, if that helps. Just note that if you go with a Tee, it must have a grounding screw.

(Said Tee will also need to be tapped out the M14 X 1.5)
Documemnt downloaded and saved,. Thank you!
Adding that "tee" seems like as good a solution as any unless there's a way to use the factory location(?).
I assume that those wires are special order at a dealer, and non-returnable. Hmmm... Not sure what to do with that tidbit...
I think I still have a spare fan shroud, so I could theoretically get everything prepped for install and limit my down-time.

I appreciate you letting me know that, White, and will keep it in mind. Thanks. I'm going to need to figure out a rough cost for this project before undertaking it. I've been spending a bit more than usual lately on other things and may need to slow my roll.

Ohio, I just remembered what I did when the BMW wires didn't come as advertised. The female side of these bullet connectors fit on there perfectly. ALSO, I forgot that you also provide ground for the switch in the harness. So I won't need to ground the Tee.

I looked into those.... but after I realized I could do it for under 100 dollars (my first time building one), I tried that first. It's solid as hell.... and super easy to wire up.

White, any chance you also have any extra fans lying around that you would be willing to part with?

I found one in the yard yesterday, but I didn't want to pay full tilt for it. Just the blade was $20.... Mine has a brand new VDO motor on it, so I didn't see the point in buying another used assembly.
