Holy crap... that hail reminds me of that storm we had last July. Me and my neighbor (also a good friend) were out in the street directing water into the storm drains to keep flooding from occurring. That stuff comes down hard, and fast! Like he said, nothing you can do about it but see what it has destroyed when it's done. Our tomato plants were heavily damaged.
EDIT - the pics of the tomatoes is a few days later after the heat "scabbed" them over.
