I hope it's not a sign, LOL. Could be that there was more moisture in the air at that time I suppose.
Thanks, guess I'll find out...could be nothing. I've only seen the AC puddling water on the ground. I had the system completely off for quite awhile, just recently started using heat and defrost.
Still haven't put tires on it yet lol, suppose to get that done before the snow flies...to busy! Think I busted a belt, pulling to the right all the sudden. Never enough time.
AK my butt. lol Hey there Bear. Thanks for the props, but this isn't in my wheelhouse, per se. I can do it, but I never tried for this kind of certification for these kind of repairs. I'm not the AC specialist, that's for sure. lol
I will say this though, I've always seen the drips from my Fords with AC after turning them off and letting things cool off. Engine heat and the coolant in the lines, seems like condensation would be logical.
Think of this like a coke or beer can sitting on the counter after pulling it out of the fridge. In a few minutes it starts sweating onto the counter. Same idea with the AC and the lines that are exposed at the connectors (metal). Sweat!
Good morning, AK, and all you thinkers!- hope your Sunday turns out great!-
I was funning when i posted that AK, - knowing your experience, if anyone would have seen this phenomenon,- it'd be you- even if your not a certified tech in a/c systems!
If i remember right, the resistor gets hot when you run in lower blower speeds- thats why its in the blower housing, for cooling.
That is an amazing pic- he's 10 ft. away from inviting himself in for dinner!
You guys be careful in your endeavors today!

Brewster, I feel your pain. Mine will need some new shoes soon... they are cracking around the bead. Pretty frustrating.
Speaking of tires, I took these yesterday. My Mustang has been sitting for a spell of 2 years. I rook a peek yesterday and found that my tires with around a mere 1000 miles on them are going to need replaced next spring. Look at these sidewalls.....

Wow, only two years ? Are they sitting on the grass, worst place for a vehicle to sit. Actually, it's terrible storing anything outside under a tarp except for maybe a boat. Still the trailer takes a beating. Can't believe that, must be defective ehh. Learned long ago about storing anything for long periods of time. Stored the truck for 5 or 6 years. But that was in a garage on concrete w/vapor barrior firing it up every 3 months and putting 20 or 30 miles on it on stands. That worked great! Ran the engine and trans long enough to lube the seals and burn off moisture by-product in the engine.
