Yea, but even that one isn't exactly right. I purchased the 98 truck new, - I've got a pic of it somewhere. I broke it one year in the cold, - the winter of 06 in fact. Never replaced.

Haha , found it, almost gave up on it, the pic is even dated 06 lol. Yea the factory original had some color to it.

EDIT: - and no, that wasn't painted by me. Came that way from the factory. Hell, that might even be a sticker, can't remember, but I think the letters/numbers were raised a little.

When I broke that cover, I broke the shroud the same day. I had the cover on the bench and the shroud hanging on the wall next to it. I dropped both of them on the ground in the shop, - on the concrete. Not hard, but it was so cold that day, anything plastic would break. A paint can also blew up in the shop that same day. I think Michigan had a record cold winter that year.

I guess that Alaska isn't the only place that gets cold weather. lol

Damn Brew, just throw everything to the ground and pick up the pieces, eh? Been there, done that. I usually drive over them accidentally, not drop them off the wall.

It gets colder than a witches tit here too. I've busted a few plastic pieces in the winter myself. I hate working on things in the winter.

White89gt started that stuff again. It's what the gt stands for in his user name, - gutter talk.

Now I know why we all get along. Aren't we still waiting for a stripper pole and dancer to join us?
