Good morning thinkers!- Ok- its been over 10 years since i put an aftermarket stereo in- i just bought a Pioneer to replace the factory in ol’ blue- ( the display went blank)- looking through the instructions it mentions standard mode or network mode for the speakers- im not adding anything( amps, speakers, etc.)- do i stick with standard mode or does network mode have to do with bluetooth?- sorry, im a dinosaur!

Oh, just to mention, the instructions are not very detailed- basic install, quick start, and not much else...

Yes, run standard. The network mode is for a 5 channel system.... which still isn't really a necessary mode. It is an internal crossover... You would need the following to use this... Two front tweets (Left and RIght), Two rear mids (Left and RIght), and a Sub.

Just roll with the standard.

Most vehicles have full range speakers, so I really think this is RARELY used.

Don't feel bad. I'd never heard of it either.

Ketchikan is really a nice little town, but don't expect to go very far. It's landlocked, little for roads, and the airport is across the water from the town. You land in Annette Island, and ferry across to Ketchikan. I havent' been there since 02, so they were talking about a bridge over the channel to still let the ferries in. I don't know if they did it or not.

I was playing around this evening thinking of where I wanted to be tonight. It was over 70 here today, which is warm to us. 2 guys from Texas were sweating all over themselves at Fred Meyers. The one guy was saying to his buddy, that it must be over 90 outside. I had to bring him back to earth and show him my phone which said it was 69 at the time. Our temps are very different. 70 here bakes you. 80 in Fairbanks will fry your butt.

I was in Portland Oregon in the early 2000's and it was 95 there, and I was comfortable. I burned like a big dog, but I never got that overheated. Today, I was pouring water on myself. LOL. I enjoy these days, but sometimes it's even too much.

This is what I came up with for my next vacation.
