Good deal Whitey, even if it is a GM. lol I know you'll feel better pulling with that and a good trailer.

AK, do you feel like your 4.6 is A LOT less capable of pulling, or is it pretty close? I really think mine feels pretty strong for being a 4.6 - not sure why. I drove several Gen 10's before I picked mine, and I thought it felt as strong as the 5.4's that I drove. Of course, I wasn't pulling anything though, lol.

Whitey.....my 4.6 is plenty strong enough, but when it comes to pulling that boat, it is a slug The 5.4 in Red is so much stronger. It is night and day. I'm literally shocked over the power curve difference. Even from the start off at a light, the the power is immediate, where the 4.6 is a little less power. This is coming from me, who never liked the 5.4 and said so. I'm coming around, but I'll never come around enough to buy a Dodge or Chevy. LOL.

I think if I were to move on from this truck, it would probably be into a diesel or 460 powered truck now. It runs perfect... very very smooth idle, etc.

I hope driving this Duramaz doesn't make me even more thirsty.

I'm itchin to jump up to a diesel but waiting until this truck gives out. It's nice not having a single car payment with a kid on the way. I just hope when this truck does give out timing is right for me to make the leap. No matter what tho the next truck will be a reg cab reg bed

If I did any towing here, I'd probably be looking at a glow-plug upgrade. 9000' makes a difference. Of course that would depend on what I would be towing, I suppose. Anything more than about 2500# might just demand it. Wouldn't know for sure, though, until I tried it

Body is straight on this truck, 4.6 and at, 1000.00. Runs good, no check light. Someone will get a nice truck to work with for a very decent price.

Yall have some steals up there AK. If I could find a straight body with no rust and the engine missing it wouldn't go for less than 2k.
