Good Morning. Hope all is well.

Today, I put the exhaust and dash back into lil red,

Yesterday, I received a call to my Craigslist ad for another FX4 wheel. A guy called me from 320 miles away and said he had 2. $50 for the pair, and he had a guy coming to Anchorage, so $20 more for shipping. I told him to send them down. They will be here on Monday. Score. That gives me a second full set plus 2 spares now. I will put one on each truck so I have matching wheels, with spare tires, in case of a flat.

How's the refit going with your work? Have a great day guys.

There you are!!- i went back to safari to see if the website was any better-(im on an i-phone)- its not, the pop-ups kill me, (i havent installed that software jbrew told me about yet)- anyway, i seen where you dropped me a mesage- so i rolled back over to the G/T app. And there you were!- no, im not upset with yogi!- but you can call me Bill if you wish! I didn't see any posts from you, so i figured you were trying to beat the weather and get some things done-
Boilers are still idle- boilermakers are busting hump- now they have decided to tie the waste wood recovery boiler in somehow- the 2 paper machines at our sister mill across the highway will be down about 2 more weeks- our #10, about 3-4 more weeks- our pulp mill ( my home shop) is throttled back- we had a down day yesterday because our stock chests are nearly full- our #12 machine is the only paper machine running right now, and theyre on lightweight paper. So were busy trying to knock out jobs that we normally cant.- hows Alaska?

Well, the transmission works great. I got to see inside of it and it was really clean. The fluid was clean and bright red. I did find one problem, make that 2, but are easily fixed.

The first one. I stopped at a Holiday gas station to fill the beast up. I went to start it and nothing. Lights came on but no starter engagement. I crawled under to look at the starter, only to find that they forgot to tighten the screw on the solenoid. I tightened it up and it was fine. When I got it home, I checked all the bolts and found all the starter mount bolts were loose also. Everything else was tight. Not a big thing, but still. Lol.

The second problem, someone stole the tags (2018) from the trucks license plates. I had no year tag. Luckily I hadn't changed to the F150FS plates yet, so that saved me a headache at the DMV. Bastages!

Today I did the oil and filter change, checked the antifreeze, the transission/transfer case bolts for torque, and changed the fuel filter. I'll finish the exhaust in the morning. I hung the muffler and started the pipes, but had to stop. My back got a bit tight, so I decided to wait until tomorrow.

I still have the tune up to go, but it is down to 1 cylinder which is misfiring. It acts like a dirty injector, so I see some injector cleaner in his future. It still had the 2012 gasoline in it, so I'm fairly sure that the injector's have residue on them, thus causing the drip. It started out as 3 or 4 cylinders, but the new fuel with cleaner has brought it down to just the 1 right now. I still have to drive it a few more miles to check the codes. The throttle body looked like the side of a tire. Black as hell, but cleaned up quite well. Tomorrow will bring more results. I hope. LOL.
