I finally got around today to putting the Android in the blue truck. That is my last radio install, that I anticipate. lol
I also got back around to lil Red and put the rear lift blocks back in him today. If the weather permits tomorrow I'm going to jack up the Tbars and have the front end aligned. This has to be the rainiest year I've seen in many many years. WOW.

Question for you smart thinker dudes....
Have any of you added an additional storage tank to your air compressor set-up? I have a 13 gallon compressor I am working off of. It has a really quick refill time, as it has a 4HP motor. At work I got a 10 or 11 gallon tank given to me, and I want to add it for extra capacity. It's an old refrigeration tank, and it is rated to 350 PSI - so I should be just fine. It was 90 lbs.... so the term "tank" has a dual meaning here, lol.
Anyway, I was just interested to see if you guys had ever done this, and if you would recommend anything in particular. Pics would be sweet too....

Whitey/...It has a viper auto start on it, and alarm. I've disconnected it this summer so that it couldn't be stolen. We've has so much auto theft this year. I also pulled the fuel pump relay.
We've had 7 vehicle stolen this summer around me and the city is swamped with stolen vehicle calls. If you have a 99=07 Chevy truck/suv, you are going to find it gone one day. They are stealing them in less than 10 seconds. In, hammer and screwdriver, turn ignition, drive away. What a joke. There is an average 5-8 a day of the p/u's and almost as many suv's, of them being taken each day in Anchorage.
We've a new law that basically slaps these bastages on the hand and lets them right back out. They are writing tickets. YES, TICKETS. Luckily the legislature is set to re-convene next month to straighten out the loopholes they created in this freaky written law. They've taken joy riding to the next level. Most of the vehicle recovered are damaged significantly. Almost all have syringes and drug crap inside them, strewn all over. The ignitions are always punched on the GM's. The older Fords are the same, but the newer ones are usually someone leaving them running (doors unlocked or locked), or the keys being stolen or left in them. It's gotten really bad since 2016 and this new law came into existence. It's like they take a car from one side of town to the other, but on the way they stop and do some stealing or something, and then the vehicle owners are involved in a way. Litigation can tie up your vehicle. It's total BS right now. (This is our Legislature since 2000 or so.....cut backs and stupid funding of stupid things......and it is well over 60+% conservative R's. Im learning the the R's can't govern money, at least in Alaska. LOL) I wasn't trying to be political, just stating the most obvious facts from a life long Alaska, who is an absolute middle of the roader. We did so much better when it was bi-partisan than what we've had run down our throats since it became a one party type state.

Whitey....I got going and forgot about your compressor.
I have a 20 gal portable on wheels, and have another 20 gallon tank that I run in series with my painting and sanding. The main will run constant using air tools, but if I add the other tank in series, it keeps the pressure up better for using the tools.
So in my way of using them, it works great. It's just another storage unit that is filled by the main compressor, so no problems. My buddy in Sutton has an old water tank, (50 gal) that he dried out and now is his secondary tank in his shop. Works like a dream.

but I watch Alaska state troopers on discovery channel I believe that’s the channel. And they did an episode about the auto theft and the “ticket writing” for stealing... crazy why anyone would think that’s a good ideaAlso I swear to my wife all the time if it wasn’t for the fact that we are so close we both of our families... I’d be high tailing it up to Alaska today! I’d love to have a homestead with a few thousand acres to work with lol as of now the wife and I are saving up to get a cattle business going
