I kind of figured it would need to be tuned to run a lower tstat. If the engine is happy at that temp maybe I'll just add a larger trans cooler. Hayden has a nice one that has a check valve to allow the fluid to heat up normally even in cold weather. I'm doing everything I can to keep this trans as long as possible.

The cooler out of the 6.0 and 6.4 are very good and will bolt right in where yours is. If they can handle diesel power, they'll certainly handle a gas engine.

Drill....calcium/oxidation build up in aluminum radiators sure does cut down their cooling effectiveness. This is why I went to the radiator first. In your case, you had the least of the cooling possibilities, so any restrictions would cause the temps to go up and up. Hope this fixes your problem (I'm sure it will, lol).
I'm assuming his home inspection is $400, at least in Indiana the prospective buyer pays for that out of pocket... yall do it differently up in AK?

Right. The majority of home purchase contracts will call out a home inspection as a contingency on the sale. When they want it isn't always the same. White is most likley finalizing the purchase contingency/agreement, could be for the insurance co or perhaps this inspection is for himself.

The loan I am doing actually does not require a home inspection. I think only FHA requires that now. I did it more for me than anything. Utah also requires the purchase of a one year home warranty (seller buys for the buyer) with the home sale. I got a new furnace out of my warranty on my current house when I bought it.

I looked at a 6.0 cooler but wasn't aware they bolt right up. That'll probably be the way to go. Hey, what's the deal with trans lines going to the radiator and to an aux cooler? Is the trans more of a warm up the fluid type thing? Sorry I'm not too familiar with how it works.

As I understand it the routing through the radiator helps to warm the fluid to operating temp.
