Yeah. Looks like my '01's. Works fine to pass SMOG, and usually doesn't fall or get away from me. I just poke it back in, every 20 fillups.

 

Just needs a 7/16 grommet if I remember right...about half of the original is missing if you look closely. Shiii like that can happen after 20 years or so.

Any hardware will have those...shoot even HD has them in the nut's and bolts isle.

 

Looks like the good old FC975 cap. They're fairly inexpensive.... it also looks like the large o-ring is gone?

It's a grommet and it's right on the cap like I said...what's left of it anyway.

Good luck getting that with a new cap...that's not happening.

Like I said, the grommet can be had at a hardware and home depot.

Trust me Ohio...been there done that .

I'm not sure if an o-ring is missing, White. I don't get a CEL like you would if the cap isn't sealed, but I'll check that out, too.

 

Not missing an o-ring..suppose to be like that. The cap seal gasket is inside and at the top.
