Time to start gathering stuffs for my core support in the F150. Just called Interstate, and they're $77 dollars for a Certifit (Sortafit).

I can only see one body mount listed for these trucks. Does the core support use the same body mount? Hell... maybe a hockey puck would even work.

Are you still missing it?

Yes, there was never nothing wrong with that. You're the only one that brought that up for some reason..it's there and where it's suppose to be.

It's just the grommet in the your second pic (not the o-ring or gasket)...looks like you do get a new one with a purchase of a new cap..

Ohio circled the problem part in red earlier. It's the only problem and what he was referencing.

Well don't get mad....your acting as though you don't see the grommet that's ripped in half.

Trying to make sure you know what we were talking about..

I'm not mad, I just thought I saw more than one issue with it. Every cap I've replaced has been because that large went bad/broke/cracked. When I still had emissions in Salt Lake, they'd hook that the cap to a machine to make sure it seals. I definitely see what you're talking about with the grommet, but if that large seal is also bad/missing, then may as well get a new cap IMO.

We know that these trucks have an issue with water getting into the rad support, then rotting it out. Do we know where the entry point is for the water?

I want to do some preventative measures to keep the new support from rotting...

Do, Please white. It's how we newer guys learn, who are unaware of all the acronyms, short speak and slang.

EDIT: Part is the repetition, and part is when another guy says it, "IOW."
THANK You, ALL...!
