White,
That dealer may be Ok with making a couple complimentary videos in their shop.
Score for you as they would have lifts, etc for better filming.
It seems like quite a few mechanics are making videos from dealers and the dealers get free pub.
Especially if you show a great one showing a solution that people can't fix on their own.

I am pretty sure they've already perused through my channel. I told them about it, and she wrote it all down. They've actually offered me more than I asked for... by 3 more dollars per hour.

My final issue is that their insurance is not as great as I need it to be. With my Wife's health, I have certain needs to be met. Their insurance is basically an indemnity plan, and has limitations. I am currently looking at ACA plans with a local agent, and we'll see what happens. As far as other vids, Ron is all over doing some when we get going in a shop. Lift is purchase number one when we do that.

Did the oil change today and pulled the old fogs, but when I saw how pitted they are, I ordered some 3M PPF to put on the new ones before I install them. The
 film film
is supposed to be here Wednesday, so I should be able to get it applied and the new lights installed before high temps drop into the 30's again next weekend.

EDIT: While updating my maintenance log, I discovered the BFG KO2's I just took off with about 50% tread (and some unexplained cupping) had only 15K miles on them! That's the last set of those I'll be buying.

Noobs - Looks like you had a nice place to see the Geminids. I intended to go out that night (super dark skies here), but it was cloudy. Bummer.

Didn't know they had a name. We just called them " see that one?".
I figured there were way too many for them to be a normal thing.
As soon as I got out of the truck at the trailhead, I was looking at my daughter and a shooting star was viewed right behind her. I said "Did you see that? A meteor." and she said "No, but one just wend behind you."

That's when we knew we accidentally hit extra good timing.

The peak for viewing was actually the 14th. (Has the wrong day in my head.)
Regardless, a couple days either side are still great. Glad you got to experience it!

I finally wrapped up my HID projector retrofit on my Lexus. Wow, what a difference!

Damn... if it isn't one thing, it's a dozen.

Freezer last week, daughters TV last week, dryer yesterday, and fridge today. I unplugged the fridge so I could defrost the freezer (the drain froze over). When I plugged it in, the fridge/display were cycling on and off. Basically, the control board has bad caps. I ordered a new board for it, and I'll just repair the old one. After being plugged in for an hour, it started working again. Of course, that's after we'd made arrangements to keep everything cold (the garage is great this time o' year).

I have several different values of caps, but no 33uf 450V's.

EDIT: I added this to the purchase.

Everyone say hi to bourbon. We took her in over the weekend from friends of ours. They found her dumped at a hotel in a crate with 2 other kittens. Right now we have her confined to a bigger crate when we aren't home. Hoping to get rid of the crate for just 1 room and then give her roam of the house when we know for sure if the pooch and her can get along. So far so good. But they did say if it doesn't work they will take her back
