I actually already got in bed with a fiber company that is putting fiber in my neighborhood. I had January as my target switch date with them originally, so I help on to Verizon for that long. After the lackluster tech support, I decided it was time to make a switch a couple weeks ago.... and the fiber project in my neighborhood has been pushed out to the third quarter. Welp... $4!T, I thought. Comcast offers no contract and 800 mbps up, 100 down with a cell phone for 65 a month. The cell service is 50, then I get 45 off the internets for having a cell plan through them. So, 65 total for 24 months.
When the fiber is available, I may jump ship again.
I had 800 w Comcast. Dunno how I got gifted w 1G.
BUT seem to need to go off them for 2 months to sign again, with any sort of deal. Watch them try to screw me w that, too. A month is already gone. I think we mis PeaCock a bit our Meteo(Ghetro) / TMobile family plan, 20 years old I bet, lags a bit on download, but it's not unacceptable. Still watch Prime on a tablet, no probs. $60/mo is 70 here w taxea. Want to try to stay closer to $50. CNET says for 2-3 people, you can watch a cpl tvs and run 2-4 other toys at about 200MB. Being retired we are online a lot, and the 1.2 GB download limit, may e due to ads, blocked or not, cuz it was no prob w 2 additional gamers, yet w them gone, we seem to surpass that 1.2 GB near the end of the month. Big ding, even if we reduce tha rate by buying more than 1.2 GB.
AND, I may like to get 1 mobile hotspot to take in a vehi ke. Phones seem to do Maps ok, IF you started before you left home. Once very rural, IF you close the map, you don't seem to be able to reconnect. You get A map, but no GPS. Then map use becomes very manual. Attention is required to stay a bit on top of it. Who cares? I like the radar and assident reports on Maps.

Uhhhh... I don't think so. I think maybe White didn't know that's how it was run, now. (I didn't, and it's just plain stupid and I wouldn't do it, either.)
Uhhhh...Okay, yeah just heard that from yesterdays MORR vid. They explained it a little better this time. Instead of both being inside the vehicle, one will be outside guiding the driver. Updating as I hear about it.
