There is a version of Mr Clean that is sorta chartreuse that I get from the home Depot. I LOVE the smell. Read labels!!!.Bleach can give you lung fluid like pneumonia or wartime mustard gad. I use it, but I don't breathe it. Hydrogen peroxide might work for your task. Safer. Hair supply stores sell it ss hair developer. Odd name - it blea hes out hair color giving a yellow-orange hue. But they have it in. 20 -30 & 40%. Regular stuff is 3%. Stronger is UNSAFE on people. A small travel bottle camping can be diluted for light backpacks. Sent it this way with a son who spent a cpl months w the Ted Cross at Katrina, a trip I sent him on for his birthday.. 1 tsp of it in 9 of water makes 3%, IF yoi started w "30." $1.25 store has it in an 8oz spray. Perfect for so much. Cleans a wound of diet better than pouring s wt on. And for lil-leaguers, "Improvise I won't touch it, honey." I keep one in each car. Dilute 3% to 0.3% with the 1&9 tsp routine. Dentists use 0.25-0.5%. Over 0.5 is no benefit and burns gum tissue. (Tastes like dirt.)

My wife reached under her mom's sink once and grabbed the yellow lidded Pledge... Which turned out to be $1 store Easy Off. Works a treat on varnish of fine furniture. She screamed, I RAN it outside and HOSED this fine old coffee table, (which should never have water touch it,) and dried it fast. No finish left on top of it in those tens of seconds. Great oven cleaner, too!!! Just no lemon scent in the LYE.

I painted a car undercarriage, once, many years ago, in a friend's garage. In order to control the overspray mess, I carefully skirted the entire car in plastic and sealed it to the floor, then went into my containment with just a dust mask, and sprayed two coats of Centari. Pretty sure I got brain damage.

Referring to this post the next time I say something stupid is too predictable to be funny... just FYI.

I thought I'd copy-paste, but the bad players were too extensive, along w body parts damaged.

See section 3. It starts off, acetone.. Ok - MEK is a lil worse, but acetone is a Very bad player, esp since it smells so nice. Dust mask was a definite plus, but it's taking a wet rag to a gunfight. You would have coughed up crap for months, bit maybe your survival (lifespan) would have sucked... what was not outright reduced. Not to be repeated !

Tape some hose to your encapsulation tent and run it out the window for exhaust. Then make a personal air supply from another hose. Or get a $40 painters mask.

Atop the rest, MEK is a mutagenic. Put THAT in your meatballs and stuff them. (Non-sensical, but alludes well enough yet passes censors...)

Also used w/Ford Oasis repair procedures as Methyl Ethel Ketone shrinks synthetic tubing and/or rubber around fittings providing a leak proof seal. It's also used to cut paint. I hope it didn't mess me up..

Ahhh... Would be helpful with prophylactics,.for some! (Which would be really smart to use if you were exposed to much of this...) I recall the EU in initial stages, standardizing everything. The average prophylactic was to large for, uh... smaller countries.
