After a craaaaaap ton of thought and consideration, I decided to stay at my current job. The main factor was health insurance. With my Wife's heart issues, I can't find coverage in the ACA that's good enough. Another issue was the fact I'd be starting over with PTO time. I need my time off - way too much crap going on all the time.

Sometimes we don't get to do what we want due to ropes we tied to others.
The others we are tied to are usually way better than the new shiny thing anyway.

Yes, that is very accurate. I'd rather have her healthy and covered than a little more money...

It's been slow through the holidays.... but that's been OK. Made it so I had more time with the family.

We have a 5R55E coming up pretty quick though.

Yeah, it probably picks up a bit in winter...with folks burning them up stuck in the snow I expect..(?)

Whats the average cost for total rebuild now a days? 2 or 2500...or is it closer to a motor in the same predicament ?

BTW- Think I'd rather have Chad crew/family build me a truck vs the other two tubers we share an interest in....if I was in a position to make that choice anyway lol.

Crap Vaca ends Mon....to short.
