Have to be careful torquing the flange bolts as you may destroy the exhaust side before ever achieving recommended torque. Have to use your judgement, keep your eye on it when torquing down. Otherwise you can run it into the stop. Not to to mention, wow it out so bad it won't seal.

Works best when you spread ultra copper over the ball then torque down , discontinuing about 3/16 -1/4" before reaching the stop. Perhaps give them a another turn after a heat cycle.

Starting to get pretty serious about opening up a shop. I think we could stay really busy.

Went over on Saturday and helped my Buddy on this old Fairlane.... it has an AOD, and we adjusted the TV cable on it.

Sweeeeet... picked this up on Facebook Marketplace for $40. The F150 will soon be fixed. Orifice tubes should be here tomorrow (I bought a package of 10)
