What's the jump seat center console cupholder made out of (single one for a 98, not the double)?

Is it solid urethane foam or is it vinyl coated? Just wondering if I can get away with using acetone to form it for a larger tray...want something that'll keep my cell in place.

If I recall , there's a couple white star adjusters that are a pain. One of mine broke fooling with it. Something else breaks easily in there (the holder for the adjusters maybe), can't recall exactly. Then it's a bitc keeping things in it's place while installing...something like that anyway.

Sucks that you had to scrape the new paint fitting them in there. Easy touch up though I expect.

Good vid white, front end looks much better with the new stuff.

When I put the 98 back together, the lights didn't need to be aligned when done. Got lucky there...didn't have that tool you picked up, had a different type. I noticed yours where almost perfect as well before aligning. At least that went easy.

Kind of remembering as I go here, it was over a decade ago. Yea, I had to epoxy some of the drivers side plastics so that the star nut adjusters would remain in place, not the star itself, the mechanism., then file the glue down in spots. It was an ordeal.

Never replaced the originals, cleaned them every which way from time to time. Eventually did the sanding thing and cleared them. That's actually is still holding up...but wouldn't do it again lol.

I sanded and cleared mine, and while ot looked better... it still had a yellow tint to it. They were too far gone by the time I tried. I was pretty happy with how close I had them just going by eye, lol.

I'm hoping to mess with it some more tonight. Gotta run out to Herriman and see my friend tonight though. Shiddy thing is, it's probably only 10 to 15 miles from my house as a crow flies, but we have a big mountain between us.... which is closed for snow. Damn it.

Hey, Ohio, when pads wear hard on one side like that, doesn't that indicate a caliper problem?
