LOL, like that one noobs, it's even got some guitar. Long one lol. Guess I played it a little too loud for the Secretary of State...it's not like this place is a library. Oh well.
When I was replacing the broken dash in my truck Friday, I ran into a little issue. I forgot that Ford hard wired the stupid airbag switch in... so the whole switch has to come off the bezel. I didn't have a 5.5mm socket in the truck with me, and too lazy to go get it. I let it hang down, and snaked it through the hole instead of going back in the garage to get the right socket. Well... it bit me. All three of those little screws broke out of their plastic studs. So, I'm going to make that SOB removable. I ordered a Deutsch style kit for it, and then I'll repair the threaded perches for the screws somehow.
At least you found a little kit. Years ago you had to purchase those in bags of 50 or 100 can't remember exactly. Think I have enough for 10 lifetimes in my arsenal. Beets pig tailing though, if you're just replacing connectors and old terminals.
Have you worked with those yet ? Can be tough to crimp if your not familiar. The B crimper that worked best for me was a 10/22. Pretty much just like this one, -
I think my Doyle's have that B crimper.... I'll hafta check. Pretty sure I bought these because someone in the HF group said these Doyle's and the Channelock's are built in the same factory.
