Still winter here... dropping to 18* tonight.

Almost over though, another couple of weeks.

It actually got all the way up to 59 degrees today. It's been so damn windy though, it's impossible to enjoy. That said - it's still supposed to snow all day tomorrow and Friday.

We drove up to look at the reservoir today. It's already sitting almost normal. When the snow melts, it's going to have some issues.

JP, this one has your name on it. The price tag doesn't, -

It is, not sure they'll get that for it.

My dad brought me home a truck similar to that one on my 15th Bday. A 78.5 F150 4X. Was a sharp looking truck. Only problem, it had a hole in the side of the block.

He said, if you work hard enough, I bet you could get it running by the time you're able to drive.

Threw a lot of hay to get that thing on the road. Wasn't the greatest at saving money, managed it finally about 6 months after my license. Dad wouldn't help with the funds...not a penny. Did his part he said. However, never short on advice, tools and helped wrench when he could. Anyway, dropped a 390 in it eventually, then a 4" lift and 36" monster mudders. Mudders were loud as hell back then, could hear that truck coming from about a mile away.

For comparison's sake, we got 12,000 for this one:

Might be turning a 71 this summer with my Buddy again.

My Grandpa bought a 78 or 79 F350 brand new... pretty sure it was a 78. Anyway, that thing pulled anything you put behind it. It had a 460, so obviously a 2WD, but it's purpose was to pull horses, hay, whatever.... and it also moved a lot of people when they bought a new house. He told me that I could have it at one point, but it was so far gone. Like I say, it was used as a truck.

I detached, then cut up the audio from a video that Ford made on the LTD, LOL. I think it worked out OK.

The F150 headlight swap begins.... I can't wait to get them in there. I painted the header panel, even though it's probably too cold. If the weather is good, I'm going to go to the yard again this Saturday and pillage some more pieces for it. I had forgotten how bad my headlight surround/grille have gotten. Hopefully there's a decent 97/98 in there somewhere.

LOL, it did pass the Youtube copyright checker. When I went to monetized, I had to let them run all of my existing videos through their checker.... and now every video has to run through it too. I did cut it up quite a bit to get the pieces that I wanted.
