Yea we attempt to relate or compare to the 80's winters here as well. Haven't matched them yet here though. Other states have.

Hope you get enough to bring levels up around there....but not all at once. That would be bad I expect.

EDIT: Not the 80's , - the 70's...late 70's here in MI.

I'm sure we will have some local flooding this weekend.
We are getting hammered by wet snow today and 43° and sunny Saturday & Sunday.
Then 44° and rain Monday.
The ditches were already full of water from the last storm.

Back in 1983 it went from being a pretty cold first 2 or 3 weeks of May, then BAM we hit the 80's or 90's, and all hell broke loose.

Where I live is currently in third place for snow pack totals, not including the ski resorts.

Wow, first time I was just about snowed in for many years. Got about 14" in some spots, roads aren't plowed yet other than the main roads. Some heavy snow.. Ground was saturated before this storm. This will melt in two ,three days. Blew around quite a bit, got all of 10" on average. That's quite a bit here.

Main roads in town are plowed but it's like driving on a dirt w/pot holes...patchy.

We only got 4-5 inches; the main roads were clear by daybreak.
43° and sunny and it's all melting.

OH SOOOO TEMPTING...

Unfortunately guaranteed to leak...2002 lariat in the junkyard

Also saw this on an 04 navigator:

I wouldn't be able to deal with that wood, and I'd have to paint the whole thing black...

Just got home from Autorama. We had a 69 Mustang from AK in the show. Pretty car!! Then went to Garage Grill and he has his S7 on display this month.
