****... I thought I had a good plan going. I am currently redoing the door panels on Frankie. The original board Ford used is much like Masonite. It measures out at .085" thick. So, I figured that I would make some more robust pieces out of .0125" (1/8) Masonite that I got from HD tonight. I started thinking that I'd better go make sure the Christmas tree retainers would work on 1/8" material. And.... it's too thick. Damn it. Time to think this over a bit.
Just got home from a high school wrestling match my daughter is in. It's coed.
I'll tell you, most of the boys are very sportsmanlike and as soon as the whistle or buzzer will help the other one up or shake hand pretty quick. A couple time they get angry but but it ends at the whistle.
Even the boy /girl matches are rarely an actual fight.
But the girl /girl matches, about half the time the ref would blow the whistle and they didn't stop until the ref started hollaring at them.
At the end of one really hard fought match, the ref had to talk to them during and after the match at the handshake for a bit to calm the girls down.
That sucks, but sure is surprising!
Why the tow truck, Phil? Some duct tape on both sides of the damage, and I'd drive it there.
20 mph winds with 40mph gusts, there was glass all over the back seat.
I didn't want it getting in her eyes or her breathing the dust.
My insurance covers the tow and overnight storage since they picked it up after the dealer closed.
They will take it to the dealer in the morning.
30° and felt like 21° with the windchill also.
The window fell in before it got put on the tow truck.
She grabbed a pic and sent it to me.
Sounds like it was worse than it looked. Better to be cautious.
Yea it's a lease vehicle that is due up in less than a yr.
That's why we had it sent there, they can fix it, so we won't have issues when she turns it in.
Yea, my ex's parents had a horse farm and carriage & trolley business.
They sold everything a few yrs. ago but the truck was low miles just beat up.
They decided to keep it as an extra vehicle.
She has borrowed it a few times.
