Here is a picture from 2:30 am last summer. This is dark for our summer, because it was taken in May, not June. June would of been much lighter outside.

 

AK- that is beautiful, just beautiful- you can almost smell the fresh air!!

 

Since that picture I posted was taken at 230 in the morning. This is the one taken at 315 am. Quite a difference for 45 minutes.

At Mirror Lake, in the high Uintah Mountains. This is my favorite place to unwind.

 

This is my favorite one from the lake. Taken in April as the ice was going out. I posted these pictures since the weather went to hell again today. At least some of you who've never seen Alaska, this is some pictures that show how beautiful my state is. Not in a political way, but for it's own beauty. Enjoy....

Very nice pictures of your state, White. It's nice when people take pride in what their state has to offer. I've been to Utah, and enjoyed it. One of my buddies is from St George, and goes rafting all the time.

Every state has it's beauty, but many are shielded by politics, stupidity, hatred, bigotry, and such, making vacation travel to those places, less likely.

Wasilla Lake (no not Sarah Palin's lake. She's on the dead lake, Lucille. That's 2.5 miles down the highway.

 

WHite.....those pictures, for a cell phone, are about as nice as some of the higher ended digital cameras. My last one is taken with a Sony camera. The others with a Samsung also. I believe they have one of the best cameras at the time of their release. At least it isn't the small narrow Iphone type. VERY Nice pictures.
