Thinking
Yea, with that model year, I agree, looks better without the blocks w/factory pre-sets. Some info from past research, -The the 97/98's can look much better with the blocks and maintain close to factory ride because of the T-bar set ups and available crank. The older model trucks have the longer bars, total available crank is 1.75". Granted, a full crank is terrible on the front end and ride. But leveling with a 1" block in the rear, the ride and components doesn't suffer much as I found out. That said and still, factory pre-load is best for both. However, these trucks look the best (imo)with another 1.25" in front (no rake/leveled) and 1" in the rear w/factory 265's/off road package.
If someone was thinking about lifting these 4" which also looks good w/33's there's only one manufacturer that allows for keeping the factory pre-sets that I know of, = rough country. They are marked as 4-5" kits. Staying w/4", that kit is offers factory pre-sets. If you go 5" as the same kit offers, you would have to crank the bars an inch.

Anthony......the last picture of your truck with the wheels redone, is that prior to the block removal or before. The angle does make it look like before, so it makes me wonder. Looking good through, anyway you look at your truck. Let me guess. Are you a tall person? The picture angle looks to be from a tall angle, or held over ones head. lol I'm guessing that it is before. Watch me be wrong.
Anthony.....any chance you can take a pic of your exhaust system? I like the duals come out on the left side. DO they do that on the right also, or is 1 into 2 and they come on the left?
Very pretty White.... Is this where you live, Utah? What time of day was this taken?
Here's one of the lake that I will be going back to this fall, I think. The lady I was with and I have maybe reunited. Time will tell. Hey that would give me my two car garage back. lol

The exhaust exits only on the passenger side. Exiting on the left side before the tire is complicated due to the 25 gallons of gas that is sitting there.
Those pics you took are beautiful. I love nature. I've been looking at getting a little trailer so I can get out and camp more often next summer. I don't think my back is going to let me sleep on dirt and rocks anymore.
Anthony thank you. I was having a hard time figuring how you got by the tank, but since it's reversed, now it makes 100% sense. Thank you for posting the picture. This is what I'm thinking of doing myself, but since I like Dynomax, I went with a single into dual outlet. What you showed me, works out for for my way of thinking also. With the short bed, it makes quick turns a thing of necessity. Thanks again.
White.....I know the feeling totally. My back today is a freaking pain clinic. Even the new mattress doesn't do it now. I never knew you were in Utah. How far from Salt Lake airport? I go thru there once in a while and usually have a hold over.
Bear.....of course we take good pictures. Would you expect anything else from our group? LOL. Thanks for the props. I had to say that.
