LOL

I guess I have to see what's wrong with the 98 this weekend. I keep a scanner in the truck and my daughter knows how to use it. So it has a code PO140, that should be an easy one. Most likley a dirty connector since I reconnected all of them just recently when I fixed the exhaust.

But the puzzling problem is the tailgate won't shut. She said the bed is too wide in back for it to latch now. Hmmm, that's a new one as well...a little curious. Any guesses ?

I've seen the "too wide" on older/rotting trucks. Not on the Gen 10's though.

Sounds like she crashed it and is trying to cover her tracks.

Or thrashed it lol. Not sure, I guess it doesn't want to fall out. Told her she probably shouldn't drive it with it down just in case. They hauled brush with it, maybe it bent out at the top. Might need some bed stiffeners for that thing. Find out when I get there.
