I'm guessing bad motherboard. I've now done everything I can do so its either repair shop or dumpster. What a POS.

Yeah, mine's still booting off the CD ROM. I need to get on the stick and try that process White linked.

Thanks on the driveway. Not perfect, but it'll do until my pro gets an opening.

Huh, that's not very common....like the last thing I would suspect.

Sucks, all that time wasted on the troubleshoot. Hope it's not that big of a loose...older laptop ?

LOL, - Yea, he got stuck in the wash didn't he...

Okay, so no problems stemming from the update then......good! Didn't really want to fight that scourge lol

Yea, I was more worried about the old DT having issues with, -



On it now, everything seems fine...still fairly quick. Printer even works.

I like that old one. It's the one and only that actually took the time to put together way back when.. never did another.

Well in the future, I won't be getting driveway material from a build site that "might contain a little construction debris." This came to the surface during my recent rework.
