Those shows learned me to never talk to the cops.
Cops never want to talk to you to help you.
Rural cops are usually pretty chill though.

My conference call comedy relief: A prior boss liked to have conference calls that lasted 3, 4, sometimes 6 hours. Him being in Denver, and me in Ohio there was a 2-hour difference, but he didn't give two shats. One day, about 5:15 after going over numbers for the third time I grabbed a bottle from the fridge, made sure it was about || that far from the phone, cracked it open,and let the cap hit the counter. Immediately, I got texts from teammates. One was "Dude! Did you just crack a beer???" "Yes. Yes I did." was my simple answer.
