Look at that tonneau cover. This is why we use hard shells more than any other types.

We got to 67 degrees today. Pretty much the perfect temp.

If we had those temps for 4 days, we'd be snowless. lol
At least I'm not sitting on the East Coast and having to fight the snow again. lol

I'd say yes normally, but our ground absorbs water quickly. I've had the luxury this year of seeing how deep the frost was. They just dug up some water lines and the frost was down 6.5 feet. Not bad at all. The snow kept it from going real deep this year, even tho we had some colder weather than has been normal.
We had a thaw like that one year, and on the fifth day, it was as dry as dust. We got 24 inches, May 1, 2002, and that melted away in less than 3 days. It was dry on the 4th. Different climates. We have times where it snows and freezes and our highways will be clear in just a couple days to asphalt after an initial scrapping, and that is when the temps are near zero or colder. The highways just magically clear themselves in the most part. City side streets, not so much. In almost 50 years of driving, I've never seen this anywhere else, except Whitehorse in Yukon Canada.

We still have tons of snowpack up high in the mountains. But down in the valley, it is all gone. I drove past the Great Salt Lake last night (house hunting) and it could use all it can throw at it. There's way too much beach out there... lol (it stinks). We have been looking at homes in a place called Stansbury Park. A very large portion of the houses have a lake/pond in the back yard, or a golf course. You get way more for your money out there... a house that goes for 250K in Stansbury goes for 325K in Salt Lake. It's ridiculous.

Well guys, tomorrow I'm selling my 2012 FX4. If everything goes right I'll be out of the $500 payment every month. I'm pretty sad to see it go but very excited to have a bit more financial freedom. As far as my 10th gen goes, I don't think I could ever get rid of that truck.
