Lol. Good to know I'm not the only one that's used brake cleaner on my hands. Probably not the safest but who wants grease on your steering wheel?

Hell YES to Brakleen, but only in the RED can. That non-chlorinated green can doesn't do it for me. lol Oh, and it does do a nice hand clean up when necessary.

Well tonight turned good. I was glancing at a post on here, and it reminded me to look on Craigslist for a Tonneau cover for this truck. I'll be darned if there wasn't one off a Lightning for sale. I called him and will go pick it up on Saturday. I got lucky today. I found a shell last week, but hate those on these flaresides.

Update on the switch of the rear axle. I have the replacement resealed, and will have the rotors turned tomorrow then it's ready to go in. I am in the process of trying to put it in Friday. The weather is suppose to improve. I would of done it yesterday, but it poured most of the day, and when it finally quit, I didn't have the energy to do it. My daughter/SIL are moving, so I ended up moving half their stuff to my house. That whipped my butt and then some.

Here is a picture of the tonneau I managed to get. I pick it up on Saturday.

why are we awake... But that's awesome I'm glad it's coming together for you! I just had my front rotors turned. Wish I'd have done it sooner!

Still, this truck, with a level appearance, to me, would be a more aesthetic look.
I got my rear blocks out last night. Before/ After.

Anthony......It looks much better balanced with the blocks out. To me that is a big improvement. How did it drive after the removal versus before they got removed? Looks like a much nicer stance.

If it's nice this weekend and I get my rear end in gear, and the one into the truck also, then I'll have a garage sale for them and send them the money. They sold the big stuff, luckily, or there would be a major problem for space. As it is, my third bedroom is wall to wall, ceiling to floor with there stuff. XBox, DVD's, flat panel TV's, kids toys, clocks, pictures, you name it. It's probably in there somewhere. I'll find out when I try and rid myself of some of it. lol

After nine straight days of 100 degrees or hotter, yesterday we finally stayed in the 90's. It's just been way too damn hot for me to do much on my truck... but I'm hoping it'll taper off now.

AK, we need moar pics too. I want to see moar anyway.... lol.
