I started in on the F150 A/C today. I took the orifice tube out, and was kinda puzzled that the tube was blue. I was absolutely certain that the tube that was plugged before was red. So I went through my Amazon photos, and low and behold.... the old melon remembered correctly. Based off of this, I ordered red tubes - so that's what I put in there. However, it was very, very minimally plugged. I'm beginning to think the compressor has issues.
I added an ounce of PAG to it... it's never been quieter. Bastards at Big O. It seems to be a touch low, but still rolling 42 degrees out of the vents.
It does, indeed, Brew. I bought it used a few years back and am quite pleased with it. I had a metal Craftsman dump-style yard cart for l long time I moved it out here and used it with the Cub lawn tractor until I got the Grizzly, t GT e ended up buying an 8" drop hitch for it so it would set level. That trailer had a lot less ground clearance and rattled like crazy. This one is purpose-built for use out here. My only regret in selling the Craftsman is that this one's too wide to pull up the sidewalk to unload firewood right at the porch.
Yeah, that's a nice little trailer. Kind of makes me wish I was more selective or at least see what else is out there. Eyeballed this one during a TSC excursion back in 2015, -
Took it home. It's been excellent...and seriously abused. It really should be all bent silly by now. That thing is still straight, fully functional and get this, - the only trailer I've owned that didn't have tire issues at one time or another. They never need air! That 180 dump and the way you can flatten out the box upside down comes in real handy....really like those features.
Lookin at that link you posted has me wanting to trade up though lol. They have some killer little trailers.
Yeah, she hated it. But gave it a name, -Prissy. It WAS very clean, 0 rust and shiny....for at least two days once in her possession. It was equipped with a 4.2L motor. In a half **** attempt to bond with the truck and chopped the muffler off. Took it for a drive and came back with a FOR SALE sign. ..Kids! She was/is totally hilarious though lol.
She later traded up for a scratched, dented up a red 83 F250 4X4 with a rebel flag filling the back window.
